I am running for Supervisor because the status quo is not good enough. It will take new leadership with new ideas to put Butte County on the path to financial stability. As Supervisor I will bring the leadership needed for prosperity and stability.
As Supervisor I will fight to bring good paying jobs to Butte County. You should not accept that high unemployment rates and chronic under-employment of well-educated people is "just the way it is in Chico." You have the right to expect more from your leaders.
My goal is to expand our tax base. I will continue to fight against raising taxes. I will find ways to make our County live within its means. In Butte County's $400 million budget I will continue to fight to maintain essential services, including the library.
